Exposure to diversity expanded my world view and gave me empathy for the human condition. Each of us is human, trying the best we can. As humans, we must try to understand one another, and be kind to one another. We are all in this together.\n\nI have experienced tragedy in my life and that tragedy changed me in ways I can't always claim are for the better. That experience also gave me conviction and I feed that conviction into my writing.\n\nI love to write and I have enjoyed getting to know my characters.
